Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-20
These terms are an agreement between you and Bumbi ("Bumbi", "we", "us") governing your use of the Bumbi platform at bumbi.io. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use Bumbi on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind that business to these terms.
1. The service
Bumbi is a sales funnel and marketing platform that enables creators, businesses, and marketers to build landing pages, webinar funnels, lead-generation experiences, forms, public pages, email journeys, and related marketing and conversion experiences, among other features. Webinar funnels remain one of Bumbi's core product capabilities.
Bumbi does not host video: where your funnel includes video (such as a webinar or a video sales letter), it plays from the external video provider you connect, under that provider's own terms.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity in your workspace, including team members you invite.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account.
3. Your content and your audience
You retain ownership of the content you bring to Bumbi: videos, pages, emails, chat scripts, offers, images, and text. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service (storing, processing, and delivering your content to your audience).
For content you choose to publish (such as landing pages and offer pages), you grant Bumbi a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating and providing the service, including serving your published pages to your visitors and generating link previews. This licence exists only to run the service, and ends when you remove the content, except for residual backups and where the law requires retention. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not use it to train models or for our own marketing without your permission.
You are responsible for:
- having the rights to every video, image, and text you use;
- the accuracy and legality of your content, pages, funnels, and offers;
- the personal data of people who register for your webinars or submit your landing-page forms: you are the data controller for those people, and Bumbi processes that data on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy;
- having a lawful basis to email the people who register or submit a form through your pages, and honoring unsubscribes.
Use of the service must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.
4. Landing pages and published content
Bumbi lets you build and publish landing pages, offer pages, forms, and similar content that is visible to the public. You are solely responsible for everything you publish through Bumbi, including text, images, media, forms, buttons, links, redirects, embedded video, and any code you add through supported blocks. You must hold all rights and permissions needed for that content, and it must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and the law.
Where a feature lets you add your own HTML or embed code, Bumbi renders it inside an isolated environment to protect visitors and the platform. Bumbi does not pre-review, endorse, or accept responsibility for creator-published content, and may unpublish content that breaks these terms.
5. Workspace addresses
Bumbi may let your workspace claim a Bumbi web address in the form yourname.bumbi.io. The bumbi.io domain and all of its subdomains are owned and controlled by Bumbi. Claiming an address gives you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to use that address to publish your Bumbi pages while your account is in good standing. It does not transfer ownership of the address, the bumbi.io domain, or any related rights, and the address is not yours to sell or transfer.
You may not claim or use an address that:
- is on Bumbi's reserved list;
- impersonates a person, brand, or organisation you are not authorised to represent;
- infringes a trademark; or
- is misleading, deceptive, or used for phishing, scams, or other abuse.
Bumbi may refuse, disable, reclaim, or reassign an address that violates these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that is dormant or abandoned, or where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, a third party's rights, or comply with the law. Where practical we will give you notice and a chance to respond first.
6. Plans, billing, and credits
- Paid plans are billed as subscriptions at the price and interval shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Upgrades mid-cycle are prorated. Refunds are handled per the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Plans include usage allowances (for example monthly registrants, emails, and Automation Credits). Usage beyond an allowance may be paused until the next period or covered by purchased add-on capacity.
- We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
7. Selling, affiliates, and payouts
Some workspaces can sell a digital product through their Bumbi funnel (for example a webinar) and recruit affiliates to promote it. Where this feature is enabled, the following terms apply in addition to the rest of this agreement.
7.1 You are the seller
When you sell a product through Bumbi, you are the seller and merchant of record for that product. You are responsible for the product, its description and price, delivery to the buyer, buyer support, and all applicable taxes. Bumbi is not the seller and does not endorse or guarantee any creator's product.
7.2 Payments and the platform fee
- Buyer payments are processed by our payment provider (Paystack). Bumbi never holds card details. Your share of each sale settles directly to your connected bank account on the provider's settlement schedule (typically the next business day; weekend sales settle the next business day).
- Bumbi charges a platform fee of 5% of the sale price on each affiliate-enabled sale, deducted at the time of sale. Affiliate commissions (set by you) are also deducted from the sale price. You receive the remainder.
- To receive money you must connect a bank account in your own name and complete any identity verification we require. Payouts are only ever sent to your own verified account.
7.3 Affiliates and commissions
- You set each affiliate's commission rate. A commission is your obligation to your affiliate; Bumbi facilitates the calculation and, for affiliate payouts, the payment, but the commercial arrangement is between you and your affiliate.
- If you change an affiliate's commission rate, affected affiliates are notified and the change applies only to sales made after it takes effect. Sales already recorded keep the rate they were earned at.
- Affiliates must promote lawfully and truthfully and must not use spam, misleading claims, self-referral, or fraud. Bumbi may pause or remove an affiliate, and withhold or reverse commissions, for such conduct.
7.4 The affiliate wallet, clearing, and withdrawals
- Affiliate commissions accrue in a wallet balance shown in US dollars and paid out in Nigerian naira at the exchange rate applied at payout time.
- Each commission is held for a short clearing periodbefore it becomes available, to allow for refunds and fraud checks. A refund or reversal during clearing cancels the related commission.
- Available balance can be withdrawn to your own verified bank account, subject to a minimum amount, a per-withdrawal fee, daily limits, and review of larger amounts. Changing your payout bank requires re-verification and takes effect after a hold period.
- Funds shown in a wallet are held with our payment provider, not by Bumbi as a bank, and do not earn interest. Bumbi is not a bank or a deposit-taking institution.
7.5 Refunds, chargebacks, and negative balances
Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from the relevant balances. If a refund, chargeback, or reversal occurs after a related commission has been paid out, or after your settled funds have been released, we may recover the amount from future earnings, offset it against your balance (which may become negative), or invoice you for it. You are responsible for chargebacks and refunds on your own products.
7.6 Fraud and verification
We may verify identities and bank accounts, delay or hold settlements and withdrawals, apply reserves, pause payouts platform-wide, and freeze or reverse amounts we reasonably believe are connected to fraud, stolen payment instruments, money laundering, or a breach of these terms. Amounts determined to arise from such activity may be forfeited.
8. Complimentary, lifetime, and beta access
Complimentary access. Bumbi may grant complimentary access to a paid plan, for a set period or until further notice. Complimentary access is a courtesy: it is personal to your workspace, is not sold, carries no cash value, and can be changed, ended, or revoked by Bumbi at any time. When it ends, your workspace returns to whatever plan it pays for, or the Free plan.
Lifetime access.Where Bumbi grants or sells "lifetime" access to a plan, "lifetime" means for as long as Bumbi continues to operate that plan, or a reasonable successor to it, as part of the Bumbi service. It does not mean "forever under all circumstances." It is tied to the features of the specified plan as they exist and change over time, is personal to your workspace, and is non-transferable unless we agree otherwise. Lifetime access does not survive discontinuation of the service or of that plan, serious breach of these terms, or unlawful use.
Beta and early-access features.Some features are offered as beta, preview, or early-access. They may be incomplete, may change, may be less reliable, and may be withdrawn or never released generally. We may collect your feedback on them. Beta features are provided "as is," and beta status applies only to those features, not to the rest of the service.
9. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time. When there is a problem with content or conduct, we may act at the level that fits it. We may: (a) remove or unpublish a specific page or piece of content; (b) suspend publishing for a workspace while keeping the rest of the account usable; (c) disable a workspace address; or (d) suspend or terminate the whole account. We do this where content or conduct violates these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the law, or creates security, legal, or platform-integrity risk. Where practical we will notify you and give you a chance to fix the issue first; for phishing, malware, fraud, or active harm we may act immediately.
10. Service changes and availability
We continuously improve the service and may add, change, or remove features. We work to keep Bumbi available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; scheduled events depend in part on third-party providers (hosting, email delivery, video hosting, payments). Storage limits, file-size limits, and capacity allowances apply as shown in the product; we do not guarantee indefinite storage or that uploaded media will always be available, and you are responsible for keeping your own copies of important files.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Bumbi is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify account holders (by email or in the dashboard) before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
